Grease Traps

Greasetraps must always be installed on the inlet to a pump chamber if there is any chance of grease being produced. The build up of grease will always cause problems with a submersible pump system by either blocking a pump or by hindering the level controls. As important as the installation of a greasetrap is that it is then cleaned out on a regular basis otherwise the grease will bypass a trap that is full and enter the pump chamber anyway.
