Grinder / Chopper / Macerator Pumps

This design is typically used for pumping sewage. The grinding mechanism chops up any solids and is then pumped through small bore pipe work. The design can not guarantee blockage-free pumping as the cutters cannot chop up everything, in particular, fibrous material. A higher static head than normal is required for this design of pump.
